THE inspirational life, business and spiritual coaching practice – created in Totnes and recently relocated to Cornwall – is going from strength to strength, reports Maggie Kay, founder of Thrivecraft. “I’ve just published my first book, Diving for Pearls: The Wise Woman’s Guide to Finding Love, which tells the story of the creation of Thrivecraft”, says Maggie. “Having moved from London to Devon, I found my soul mate, Pat, in Totnes and in 2003 our Thrivecraft ‘baby’ was born.” Nowadays, as well as writing and coaching 1-1, Maggie personally trains accredited Thrivecraft Coaches and Meditation Teachers. (Pat no longer has an active role, but supports in the background.) The next 9 month Thrivecraft Coach training programme begins 14/15 Oct with a workshop at Thrivecraft Home Hub – the couple’s stunning riverside retreat near Saltash – and continues until June. However, the programme is flexible, explains Maggie, allowing some to join or continue late, as all the content is also available on video and audio. In fact it is possible to take the course entirely as a distance learner, starting anytime, as with the Meditation Teacher training. Maggie offers free Discovery Sessions (in person, phone or skype) for anyone considering taking a training or coaching programme with her. Diving for Pearls (a spiritual adventure / true love story mixed with tips and teachings on meditation, Buddhism, inner wisdom and relationships), is available at Arcturus bookshop, Totnes, on Amazon and from Maggie’s website.
